Themed books, movies and music express this wonderment

As endless halves become couples

In a world filled with sentiment

The cynics will forever remain malignant

About this thing called love and eternal bliss

Which they can’t help but flaunt to others detriment

But the world remains indigent

For existence we crave anything but vacuity

The reason for this world filled with sentiment
