Biography

The Redroom are one of the most influential bands of the last 10 years with bands such as Coldplay, Infusion, Franz Ferdinand and Bloc Party stating them as a major influence in their music. They have created their own style of music fusing rock, funk and electro clash all into one. The band consists of Javier Clavier on guitar and vocals, Jackson Brown on bass and turntables and Zac Thompson on drums. They have sold over 17 million albums to date and have played to crowds in excess of 80 000 people. Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters called them:

Having formed in 1995 The Redroom have released 5 albums and are set to release their 6th studio album in early 2007. Their 2003 album "The Golden Rule" was recently voted number 2 album of the last 50 years by Rolling Stone Magazine and their 2007 release is one of the most highly anticipated releases since The Beatles 1966 Revolver.
